In the 18th century, a Basque family was the first to plant vines in this lush region of central Chile. When we purchased Viña Los Vascos in 1988, we were among the first European families to acquire a vineyard in the region.
Extensive studies were conducted to identify the best terroirs, the vineyards were restructured, and the winery was restored to meet new quality standards for winemaking and aging.
At Viña Los Vascos, agriculture is important to us, but we don’t just grow vines. We dream of transforming our vast estate into a balanced ecosystem where people and nature coexist harmoniously.
At Los Vascos, we don’t follow trends. We are free-spirited. We combine Chilean traditions with the expertise of DBR Lafite to produce wines that reflect our vision.
