In the early 20th century, the Echeverría family established its current vineyards in Molina, in the Curicó Valley, the heart of Chile’s wine-growing region.
In 1992, Viña Echeverría began marketing its wines worldwide under its own label, which bears the family name. The varieties currently produced are Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Carmenère, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Today, Viña Echeverría remains a family-owned winery, and its vineyards and headquarters are located in the same place as they were nearly 100 years ago. The 65 hectares of sustainably farmed vineyards in Chile’s Central Valley are planted, tended, and harvested by the Echeverría family. Roberto Echeverría remains very active in the family business and continues to inspire the entire family to develop new projects and delight new customers.
Together with his four children—Paulina, Viviana, Roberto, and Diego—they personally sell their wines, regularly traveling to their 40 retail locations around the world, and consider many of their customers friends. They form an unbeatable team united by strong family roots, a shared passion for winemaking, an unwavering pursuit of excellence, and an absolute dedication to their customers.
