Casas Patronales

Our story begins in 1990, when three close friends decided to plant their first vineyards on their family lands. Then, in 2001, they began renovating and expanding an old winery, introducing state-of-the-art equipment to produce fine wines that reflect the quality of our vineyards. In January 2003, Casas Patronales began marketing its wines in Chile and around the world.

The old manor houses, or casonas de fundo, reflecting the purest traditions of the Chilean countryside, inspired the winery’s name, Casas Patronales. Located in the Maule Valley—specifically in the San Clemente area—they received the finest produce harvested from the countryside. Later, whatever was not consumed at the estates was sold locally. Thus began the deep-rooted tradition that only the best grapes make their way to Casas Patronales.
