{"id":359,"date":"2020-09-11T13:18:13","date_gmt":"2020-09-11T13:18:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sustainable.cl\/?post_type=vinas&#038;p=359"},"modified":"2026-05-25T17:15:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-25T15:15:18","slug":"valle-secreto","status":"publish","type":"vinas","link":"https:\/\/www.sustainable.cl\/en\/vinas\/valle-secreto\/","title":{"rendered":"Valle Secreto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Valle Secreto was founded in the late 1990s as an idea conceived by two men passionate about the world of wine, Antonio Punt\u00ed and Claudio Berndt, both from families that had forged deep ties with the industry over several generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They dreamed of creating a unique winery focused exclusively on fine wines that would showcase the terroir and be of the highest quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a couple of years of searching, they found a \u201csecret valley\u201d: a small corner located in the southeastern tip of the Cachapoal Valley, at the foot of the Andes Mountains, 132 km south of Santiago. They planted the vineyards, built a magnificent winery, and finally, starting in 2010, bottled their first wines, which were shipped to various destinations around the world, making that dream\u2014begun years earlier and nurtured with great care over this long period\u2014a reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Soon after, as a reward for their patience and perseverance, they began to receive major accolades and high scores from the world\u2019s leading wine critics.
