They had a very clear vision of the winery\u2019s direction: to produce \u201cpremium\u201d wines for discerning markets around the world, making the winery a pioneer in the production of quality wines in Chile. Aurelio Montes, Douglas Murray, Alfredo Vidaurre, and Pedro Grand overcame many setbacks with great wisdom and effort, putting the name Montes and that of Chile on the world map of quality wines. Soon after, the Garc\u00e9s and Barros families joined this great human endeavor.
