The first generation arrived in Chile in 1892 with Don Emilio Bouchon, coming from Bordeaux and St. Emilion, France. Since those times, the family has been dedicated to wine production, serving as pioneers in the Colchagua Valley. It wasn\u2019t until 1997 that Mario Pablo Silva, the eldest son of the fifth generation, shared with his father, Mario Silva, the dream of producing wines under their own brand. The latter had dedicated much of his life to restoring the old vineyards and winery, acquiring a unique understanding of the Colchagua Valley\u2019s terroir. Soon after, his sons\u2014Francisco, Gonzalo, and Raimundo\u2014joined the venture, contributing to the development of Vi\u00f1a Casa Silva.
